The Yuchai Group was founded in 1951. It locates in Yulin, Guangxi, China, and has evolved from Yulin Diesel Engine Plant, the predecessor of which was the Quantang Industrial Community.

¡ñ Diesel engines. The main products are diesel engines of 1-6 cylinders for the uses in vehicles, engineering machineries, agriculture, marine and power generation. Having the production capacity of 500 thousand units per year, Yuchai is the biggest base for independently producing diesel engines.
¡ñ Engineering machineries. The main products are excavators, forklifts, excavating loaders and agricultural machineries. In this domain, Yuchai owns two subsidiary companies¡ªYuchai Engineering Machinery Company Ltd and Guilin Engineering Machinery Ltd. Having the annual production capacity of 10000 units, Yuchai is the biggest base for production and export of small sized excavators.
¡ñ Automobile chemicals. Yuchai produces lubricants and maintenance materials for automobiles and chemical raw materials for foundries. Yuchai has 3 subsidiaries in this industry -- Yuchai Lubricant Company Ltd, Beihai Yuchai Lubricant Company and Yuchai Chemical Material Company Ltd. The annual production capacity is more than 90 thousand tons.
¡ñ Vehicle parts. Yuchai owns 8 subsidiary companies including Hainan Yuchai Machinery Company Ltd and Jinchuang Vehicle Parts Company which produce several hundreds of parts including transmission cases for vehicles, gears, filters, coolers, intercoolers and steering pumps.

Yuchai owns Yuchai Special Purpose Vehicle Company Ltd which produces wastes compression and transfer stations and all kinds of special purpose vehicles, and Kangyuan Water Treatment Engineering Company Ltd which produce water purification machineries.
¡ñ Automobile sales and logistics. Yuchai owns Yuchai Marketing Company Ltd, Yuchai Logistics Group, Yuchai Matching Parts Departmentized Speciality Development Limited and Yuchai YunJie Bonding Company Limited which deliver businesses in vehicle sales, aftersales, logistics, leaseholds and securities and diesel engine parts sales.

Yuchai owns Yuchai Realty Development Company Ltd and Yuchai Property Management Company which commit to development, planning, construction of dwellings and workshops and property management.
