It has been more than three years since the pandemic situation which has prevented new scientific knowledge and clinical experiences were distributed across the world. Recently, in the new era of molecular examination development, and new technique innovations in managing hepatobiliary diseases, a multidisciplinary approach strategy is needed to give a better strategy for managing patients in daily practice. In 2024, the Asian Pacific Association for The Study of The Liver (APASL) is coming back with a new concept of portal hypertension, where it is now will be more exciting because it will be discussed related to more challenging issues, such as hepatobiliary malignancy-related. We are trying to cover all interesting topics which will involve medical oncologists, interventional radiologists, pathologists, and hepatobiliary endoscopists as well as surgeons.
