Netstal at Plastpol 2008 in Poland

At the international plastics trade fair Plastpol in Kielce / Poland, the Swiss company Netstal-Maschinen AG, producer of the famous injection moulding machines bearing the same name, is demonstrating its perfectly established SynErgy machine on the exhibition stand of its agent MUEHSAM Jan Krzysztof Muehsam. The application in question is typical for the area of thin-wall injection moulding and underpins the performance capability of this range of Netstal equipment.

The World's Biggest Injection Moulding Machine by ENGEL

Plastics processors GRAF from Teningen recently commissioned a two platen ENGEL machine with a clamping force of 55,000 kN and three injection units for the production of underground tanks and logistics containers. ENGEL has broken all previous records with this development. The duo 5500 not only supports shot weights of up to 140 kg with its three injection units, but is also very economical with its extremely low energy consumption.

The Austrian injection moulding machine manufacturer, Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH, is demonstrating the high performance capability of its toggle series TM at this year`s Plastpol in Kielce, Poland. The application can be seen in action in pavilion C, stand 109. This year marks the 12th edition of Plastpol, which has become the biggest and most important trade fair in the aspiring Eastern European plastics market.

CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI, U.S.A., January 14, 2008: Extrusion Dies Industries, LLC (EDI) has purchased an extensive manufacturing facility very close to its headquarters site that will become the new EDI Technology Center, with laboratories for developing innovative die systems and for renting to processors and converters to use in product development and process testing. EDI expects all of the laboratories to be fully operational within three months.
